Born in Georgia and based in Chicago. David Heo explores the intersections of mythology. memory. and modern identity. He holds an MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and has exhibited widely in the U.S. and abroad. including solo shows at Realation Space (Seoul. 2024). Hashimoto Contemporary (New York. 2023). and UICA (Grand Rapids. 2023). His work has appeared in group exhibitions at the Korean Cultural Center of Chicago. MoCP. and Half Gallery. and has been featured in Vogue Portugal and VISLA Magazine.
